Christmas Preparation and the David Nott Foundation
It's black Friday! I'm not sure why 'Black Friday' is such a big thing these days but it's 10am and I've already had a fair few orders this morning so I guess it is a big retail day!
As ever, the Christmas run-up is busy busy busy at ShotClub HQ, I've drafted in the husband to wrap skis every evening and even the kids have been helping out (as much as a 6 and 4 year old can 'help out'). With Christmas party season just starting up, I'm pleased to see that apres-ski parties are popular this year and a shotski is an essential apres-ski party piece (I was working in the apres ski is Verbier when I first came across the shot ski after all!) Our retro ski stock pile is running dangerously low so if you're holding out to buy one, I'd get in quick before they go. As an alternative, you can always opt for one of the handmade shot skis. They come in an oak, walnut, or sleek black finish. You can also have a folding ski or a mini ski which you can take out and about with you. Check out the website for our full shot ski range.
Thank you to all our customers in October, we had a brilliantly busy month! Each month we donate 10% of profit to a different charity. Our October charity is the David Nott Foundatiion. This is a wonderful charity doing essential work providing surgeons and medical professionals with the skills they need to provide relief and assistance in conflict and natural disaster zones around the world. They also train local healthcare professionals; leaving a legacy of education and improved health outcomes in the areas where it is most needed.

I would also highly recommend that you listen to David Nott on Desert Island Discs. A wonderfully moving and passionate account of his work. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b07djzyq
